Hanging Lanterns

Hanging lanterns which will be hung over an object should be in proportion to the size of the object, not the size of the room.

For a large foyer or cathedral ceiling - use a large fixture, hung on the high side as compared to a chandelier.

When lighting a passageway which is frequently used, an open bottom lantern is your best choice as they emit light down as well as outwards.

All lanterns come equipped with 18" of hand made S chain and wire, and a ceiling plate. All lights wire directly into your electrical box in your ceiling. Open bottom lanterns where the light comes from the top, are equipped with a standard base socket.
